Comparing Die Cut Machines

If you are considering purchasing a die cut machine, check out a comparison of four machines that I wrote for Craft Critique.  You can read the whole article here.

In the article, I compared my personal experience with the Spellbinders Wizard, the Cuttelbug from ProvoCraft, the BigShot by Sizzix, and the Cricut Expression (a digital cutter) by ProvoCraft.

My overall recommendation?  The BigShot. 

• It works easily and well
• it is sturdy and stable during use
• it has a Multi-Purpose Platform which makes it easy to figure out which mats to use with which dies
• it cuts all manner of materials, AND
• it embosses.
